Legendary 1990s German supermodel Claudia Schiffer recently celebrated her 55th birthday. To mark the occasion, the star traveled to Greece, spending the day basking under the radiant Mediterranean sun.
She shared vibrant snapshots from her holiday on Instagram: in one photo, she poses against a backdrop of mountains in a flowing maxi dress by ANNINA, paired with a bag by Chloé.
In others, she relaxes by the pool and takes in breathtaking scenery.

Her path into the fashion world is a true tale of inspiration. As a child, she felt self-conscious about her height and awkward walk, dreaming of escaping her small German hometown of Rheinberg for the glamorous world of fashion. That dream became reality in 1987, when a modeling agent spotted her by chance on the streets of Düsseldorf.
From that moment on, Claudia’s life changed forever. She became one of the defining fashion icons of the 1990s: gracing over 700 magazine covers, signing contracts with Chanel, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, working with L’Oréal and Revlon, and forming a close bond with the legendary Karl Lagerfeld.

Today, Claudia lives a quiet, private life in London’s Notting Hill, raising her three children.
