Bill Gates’ daughter launches app for finding the best clothing deals

22-year-old Phoebe Gates, daughter of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, together with her friend and former Stanford University roommate Sophia Kianni, has unveiled their new startup — «Phia,» a free app that uses artificial intelligence for smart shopping.
The name of the platform — «Phia» — is a combination of the two founders’ names and symbolizes their shared vision: to make finding good deals simple and accessible. The app has already exited beta testing and is now available for download on the App Store.
Phia analyzes over 40,000 online stores, including second-hand platforms, to help users find the best prices on fashionable clothing. With a single tap on the «Buy this?» button, the app evaluates whether the price is a good deal, average, or overpriced. If it’s overpriced, Phia automatically suggests exact or similar alternatives at a lower price.
«We created Phia to make shopping easier, faster, and more cost-effective. It’s your personal assistant that’s always ready to help you choose the best offer,» said Gates and Kianni.
The new startup has already sparked interest in the fashion tech industry and seems poised to become a must-have tool for fashion lovers around the world.
