Bianca Censori speaks out for the first time about her provocative looks

«I had an obsession with nudity»
Bianca Censori, the wife of Kanye West, has given her first major interview to Vanity Fair. We share the key takeaways from the conversation.
On her «provocative» appearances
According to Censori, her revealing looks were neither the result of pressure from Kanye West nor financial motivation – they stemmed from her love of art.
«I genuinely had an obsession with nudity. I was naked everywhere and never distanced myself from it for a second. I kept recreating the same images over and over again. I would never do anything I didn’t want to do. My husband and I worked on my outfits together – it was a collaboration. There was never a moment when I was forced to wear something. If you were married to Gianni Versace, wouldn’t he give you a dress or something like that?», Bianca explained.
At the same time, the model admitted that she eventually grew tired of constant nudity, though she was satisfied with the outcome of the long-term experiment. She also emphasized that her silence gave her image a particular power – until now, she had deliberately avoided public commentary.

On public reaction
«I never cried myself to sleep because of other people’s words – the public reaction simply didn’t align with my intention. Once I explained this to someone, and they said: «Well, your intention got lost». And I thought: that’s okay. It doesn’t matter. I was able to express myself – and that’s what matters most».
On her personality
«I’ve never been able to control my emotions throughout my life. I form very deep attachments to people – so deep that they become a part of me. Have you seen the film «Two Become One», where the characters literally merge into each other? It resonates deeply with me. In a way, that’s who I am».

On Kanye
«I love him. I love him very much. Even if there is a certain codependency between us, it has only ever brought me joy. We are incredibly similar».
On Kanye’s antisemitic statements
«The fact that antisemitism has become mainstream is horrifying. But at the moment Kanye was posting those antisemitic tweets, public opinion was not my top priority. I wasn’t thinking about PR – I was focused on him and on myself. Somewhere deep inside, I knew this conversation would happen eventually, and I would have the opportunity to say: I am not an antisemite».
Censori also noted that Kanye had recently met with a rabbi:
«He needs to go through a process of making amends, and I am ready to support him, love him, and stay by his side».

On her new project – children and their «exploitation»
«It’s painful for me to watch parents post their children on social media. It’s clearly a form of child labor and an extreme use of a child for someone else’s interests. The very idea of a child becoming part of a machine terrifies me. I am convinced that excessive attention at an early age can cause serious harm».
