Beyoncé becomes a dollar billionaire

Thanks to the revenue from the Cowboy Carter Tour
Singer Beyoncé has officially joined the ranks of dollar billionaires. A key role in this achievement was played by her country album Cowboy Carter, released last year, and the accompanying tour, which became one of the highest-grossing music projects of 2025.
According to Forbes, the tour generated more than $400 million in ticket sales, with an additional $50 million coming from merchandise. This commercial success firmly cemented Beyoncé’s status as a pop culture icon, placing her on par with Taylor Swift.
She is only the fifth recording artist to reach this financial milestone. In this elite group, she follows her husband Jay-Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.

The foundation of her fortune lies in her full control over her career, exercised through Parkwood Entertainment, the company she founded in 2010. The firm produces all of Beyoncé’s music and touring projects, allowing her to retain a significantly larger share of the profits. Forbes estimates that her pre-tax income in 2025 amounted to $148 million.
Beyond music, Beyoncé is actively expanding her business ventures. Her portfolio includes the haircare brand Cécred, the whiskey label SirDavis, and the fashion line Ivy Park.

Particular attention is also drawn to her innovative approach to monetizing live entertainment: Beyoncé’s concert films are released directly in cinemas and on streaming platforms, enabling her to maintain control over revenue streams. While her album sales lag behind some competitors, touring – accounting for up to 90 percent of her total income –secures her position among the world’s highest-paid artists.
