«Back in Action»: Cameron Diaz returns to film after a 10-year hiatus

Netflix has released the debut trailer for the action-comedy Back in Action, starring Cameron Diaz in the lead role. This marks the Hollywood actress’s first major project in nearly 11 years.
The 52-year-old star took a long break from her career to focus on building her family, giving birth, and raising children. During this time, she also launched Avaline, a line of natural wines.
Diaz’s co-star in the film is Jamie Foxx. The story follows Matt and Emily, former CIA agents who left the service to start a family but are unexpectedly drawn back into espionage when their cover is blown.
The film is directed by Seth Gordon, best known for the comedy Horrible Bosses. The cast also includes Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, and others.
The movie is set to premiere on the streaming platform on January 17, 2025.
