Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt offered $60 million for a joint film

The script for the movie is already written
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been offered $60 million to star together in a new film. This controversial idea was proposed by producer Danny Rossner, known for the film The Sixth Element.
It seems Rossner is not concerned that the former couple is still struggling to resolve custody issues over their children and the management of their shared winery. He is also unfazed by the fact that organizers of the Venice Film Festival deliberately arranged the schedule to prevent Jolie and Pitt from crossing paths.
Rossner remains optimistic about convincing the ex-spouses to work together, offering a fee that is 50% higher than their current rates. The proposed fees, however, vary: $37 million for Pitt and $22 million for Jolie, which could potentially become another «bone of contention» between the actors.
«At the moment, I believe Pitt’s standard fee is between $20 and $25 million per film, while Angelina Jolie’s reaches $15 million. We are ready to offer them one and a half times more», the producer emphasized.

The film’s plot is set in Cannes during World War II. According to the director’s vision, Pitt would play the owner of the legendary Hotel Martinez, while Jolie would portray his beloved muse. In Rossner’s dreams, there is even a passionate scene between the two actors.
«There’s a love scene. It’s passionate but not vulgar», the producer admitted.
Well, let’s wish Rossner luck with his ambitious plans. While many of us would love to see a sequel to Mr. & Mrs. Smith, it seems like a far-fetched dream.
