75-year-old Klaus Eberhartinger becomes a father again

Another addition to the family

The Austrian musician, singer, and frontman of the cult band EAV (Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung), known for his distinctive style and hits like Märchenprinz, has become a father once again.

For a long time, little was heard from the singer: he not only left the big stage but also largely withdrew from public life. And there were good reasons for this. According to Kronen Zeitung, the 75-year-old became a father for the second time last year – his wife gave birth to their second child in their home in Kenya. The family lives there far from the spotlight and cameras, enjoying a private and peaceful life.

In a recent television interview with Vera Russwurm, Eberhartinger spoke candidly about his relationship:

«I always say: we didn’t search for each other, but we found each other. We fit together very well! When we’re not together, something is missing», the musician admitted.

Klaus Eberhartinger is not alone in experiencing the joys of late fatherhood. His EAV colleague, Thomas Spitzer, also became a father in 2019 at the age of 65. The international stage offers many similar examples: Robert De Niro became a father again at 79, Anthony Quinn at 81, Al Pacino at 83. The record belongs to Bernie Ecclestone, the former Formula 1 chief, who became a father at 89.
