This year has been full of both sad and joyful events for everyone, including global celebrities. Amidst the many news stories about weddings and divorces, we also frequently heard about star couples experiencing the joy of parenthood.
Some celebrities, such as Margot Robbie, Robert Pattinson, and Hailey Bieber, became parents for the first time, while others like Hilary Duff, Olivia Munn, and Gal Gadot rejoiced at the arrival of their second, third, or even fourth child.

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley
In October, American actress and producer, as well as the «most popular Barbie,» Margot Robbie became a mother for the first time. The 34-year-old star gave birth to a boy with her husband, British producer Tom Ackerley.
The couple has decided not to share any details about their new status and has refrained from commenting on their firstborn’s name.

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse
38-year-old British actor Robert Pattinson and his 32-year-old partner, singer Suki Waterhouse, also became parents for the first time. The couple welcomed a daughter in March. However, they have not yet revealed her name.
The couple keeps their relationship as far from social media and the press as possible. They reportedly started dating in 2018 and are rumored to have secretly married.

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter, Katherine, became a mother of three this year. Olivia Munn and John Mulaney
«X-Men: Apocalypse» star Olivia Munn announced the birth of her second child. The 44-year-old actress revealed that the baby was born via surrogate. Olivia and her husband John Mulaney named their daughter May June.
Munn, who battled an aggressive form of breast cancer and had a double mastectomy, expressed her gratitude for the surrogate who helped them fulfill their dream of a larger family. The couple also has a 3-year-old son, Malcolm.
Alexandra Daddario and Andrew Form
«True Detective» and «The White Lotus» star Alexandra Daddario became a mother just in time for Halloween. The 38-year-old actress and her 55-year-old husband, TV producer Andrew Form, welcomed their first child together.
The baby’s name and gender remain a mystery.
Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma
Another record-holder is actress and singer Hilary Duff, who became a mother for the fourth time. In late spring, 37-year-old Hilary and her husband Matthew Koma welcomed a daughter named Townes Meadow Baer.
Duff opted for a home birth and delivered the baby in her own bathtub under medical supervision.
The couple is already raising two other children—5-year-old Banks and 2-year-old Mae. Hilary also has a 12-year-old son, Luca, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.
Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara
Earlier this year, Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix and his partner Rooney Mara were reported to be expecting their second child. After paparazzi photos revealed Rooney’s baby bump during the Berlinale, it was confirmed that the couple welcomed their second child this summer.
50-year-old Joaquin and 39-year-old Rooney have been together for over eight years and are already parents to a 4-year-old son, River, named after Joaquin’s late brother.

Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker
35-year-old «High School Musical» star Vanessa Hudgens also became a mother for the first time. Her baby was born on the birthday of her partner, 28-year-old baseball player Cole Tucker.
The couple has decided to keep their family life private, so the baby’s gender and name are not yet known.
Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge
American model Sofia Richie, daughter of singer Lionel Richie, also became a mother for the first time. The 25-year-old model and her 30-year-old husband, producer Elliot Grainge, welcomed a daughter named Eloise Samantha Grainge.

This year, «G.I. Joe» and «Factory Girl» actress Sienna Miller became a mother for the second time. The 42-year-old actress welcomed a daughter with her 27-year-old boyfriend, British actor Oli Green.
Sienna is also raising her 11-year-old daughter, Marlowe, from her previous relationship with Tom Sturridge.
