«Twilight» star Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay, have welcomed their first child. The couple has a daughter.
They announced the arrival of their baby on September 23 – a week after her birth. On Instagram, they shared the first photo of their daughter and revealed her name.
«A week of loving our sweet little Lenny. Lennon Taylor Lautner. 09.16.2026», the parents wrote.
Their daughter’s name continues the couple’s unusual naming coincidence. Before their marriage, the actor’s wife was named Tay Dome, and she took his surname after their wedding. Since then, they have both officially been named Taylor Lautner. To distinguish between them, the actor’s wife goes by the shortened name Tay. The couple has joked about the coincidence on several occasions.
Tay and Taylor announced their pregnancy in March 2026. At the time, they shared a series of photos showing Tay’s growing baby bump, along with an ultrasound image. The post was captioned: «What could be better than two Taylor Lautners?» In June, the couple revealed that they were expecting a daughter.
The couple’s relationship began in 2018. They were introduced by the actor’s sister, Makena Moore, who arranged a night out with friends. In November 2021, Lautner proposed to Tay, and exactly one year later, on November 11, 2022, they got married at Epoch Estate Wines near Paso Robles, California.
After their wedding, the couple launched their joint podcast The Squeeze, which focuses on relationships, emotional well-being and mental health. Tay, who is a trained nurse, also works in the field of psychological well-being.
For 34-year-old Taylor Lautner, the arrival of his daughter comes as he gradually returns to acting. He rose to fame for his role as Jacob Black in «Twilight», after which he took an extended break from his acting career. The actor is now preparing for the release of the comedy series Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter, in which he will play a fictional, satirical version of himself.
