META unveils its own line of smart glasses

In collaboration with Kylie Jenner
Meta has introduced its new line of smart eyewear, Meta Glasses. Unlike previous models developed in partnership with Ray-Ban and Oakley, the company is now launching the devices under its own brand name.
The collection includes the Meta Adventurer, featuring a classic rectangular frame, the Meta Fury, designed with a bolder aesthetic, and the limited-edition Glasses by Kylie, created in collaboration with entrepreneur and influencer Kylie Jenner.

This exclusive model features a more refined silhouette, metallic decorative accents, and a distinctive design developed with Jenner’s direct involvement. Kylie also serves as the face of the promotional campaign.
In total, the collection offers 26 frame and lens combinations. Users can choose between tinted lenses and prescription lenses tailored to their vision needs.
The new glasses combine artificial intelligence, a camera, headphones, and a voice assistant in a single device. Equipped with a 12-megapixel camera, they allow users to capture photos and videos hands-free.

The glasses also enable music playback through open-ear speakers, phone calls via noise-cancelling microphones, real-time language translation in up to 20 languages, and access to guidance from a built-in AI assistant.

For example, the system can recognize surrounding objects, provide useful recommendations, and assist with everyday tasks.
Another standout feature is the extended battery life. The glasses can operate for up to eight hours on a single charge, while the charging case provides approximately 40 additional hours of use.

Meta Glasses start at $299, making them more affordable than the second-generation Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and several of the company’s other models. Meanwhile, the limited-edition version created with Kylie Jenner is priced $100 higher than the standard models, retailing at $399.
