Apple Music has named the most popular artists of the decade
Led by Drake
To mark its tenth anniversary, Apple Music published a ranking of the most successful artists in the platform’s history. The service launched on June 30, 2015, and has since grown into one of the major players in the global music streaming market.
The top position in the ranking was taken by Canadian rapper Drake. He remains the undisputed leader in streaming numbers on the platform: 27 of his songs are included among the 500 most-streamed tracks on Apple Music, and his hit «God’s Plan» ranks third on the list.
Second place went to Taylor Swift, while rapper Future came in third. The top five also include YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Bad Bunny.

Notably, only two women appear among the twenty most successful artists – Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
The ranking is dominated mainly by hip-hop and R&B artists, although pop, country, and Latin music stars are also represented.
