Deacon, the 22-year-old son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, has shared rare family photos on social media. The relatives gathered to congratulate the young man on graduating from New York University, where he studied at the Tisch School of the Arts.

In the commemorative snapshots, the graduate poses surrounded by his extended family: his star mother, father Ryan Phillippe, 26-year-old sister Ava, former stepfather Jim Toth, and 15-year-old younger brother Tennessee.

Deacon’s future career plans are currently being kept under wraps. However, he has already tried his hand at show business, making his acting debut in the third season of the popular Netflix series Never Have I Ever, and releasing his first music album two years ago.

As a reminder, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe were married from 1999 to 2008 and share two children. Three years after the divorce, the actress married again – tying the knot with Hollywood agent Jim Toth, with whom she shares her son, Tennessee. This marriage dissolved in 2023 after 12 years together. Currently, Witherspoon is dating German financier Oliver Haarmann.

Unlike his sister Ava, who frequently accompanies her mother to high-profile social events, Deacon leads a more private life. Nevertheless, in 2023, he found himself at the center of an online controversy. The young man invited well-known blogger Caleb Simpson into his home, allowing him a room tour of his luxurious duplex apartment in Manhattan. The video sparked outrage among users, who accused the actress’s heir of being out of touch with reality. However, the young artist has no shortage of loyal fans either, receiving regular support from thousands of followers in the comments.
