According to media reports, American singer Cher is developing a special bond with her 15-year-old granddaughter, who has only recently entered her life after years of family rumors.

As reported by Daily Mail, the girl in question is named Ev. Model Kati Edwards claims that the child was born to her daughter following a brief relationship with Cher’s son, Elijah Blue Allman. According to Edwards, she had a short-lived romance with Allman in 2010, which resulted in the birth of the girl. Elijah was allegedly aware of the child and saw her occasionally, though he did not take an active role in her upbringing.

Rumors about Cher having a granddaughter had circulated for years, but confirmation only emerged recently when, according to reports, the singer directly approached Kati Edwards to ask whether the claims were true. Following their conversation, she was reportedly stunned to learn that she had indeed become a grandmother.

Cher later invited Kati and her daughter to her home in Malibu. During the visit, Edwards says, the singer showed the girl her wardrobe, let her try on clothes, and even joked about boys and school life. They are also said to have spent time together by the pool, with the atmosphere described as warm and relaxed.
