Artist Margarita Gavrielova transforms Silvia Schneider into a goddess

Wow
An exhibition of works by artist Margarita Gavrielova has opened at Galerie Buchinger Pöllmann, presenting a series of striking portraits of well-known personalities in unexpected roles. In her work, the artist reinterprets celebrity images by depicting them as gods and goddesses — powerful, stylized, and visually compelling.

Among the figures featured on her canvases are Jason Derulo and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Silvia Schneider has now joined the series, portrayed by the artist in the form of a goddess.

The exhibition invites viewers to see familiar faces from a new perspective. The series also includes figures such as Angelina Jolie, Anton Bruckner, and Alfons Haider. The paintings are distinguished by their strong visual energy and have already become a notable phenomenon within Linz’s art scene.

Silvia Schneider herself admitted that she was deeply moved by her portrayal as the goddess Saraswati. According to her, this interpretation has been both a great honor and a source of inspiration.
