Interval Acts for Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Announced

New details
Austrian broadcaster ORF has unveiled the interval acts that audiences will see during the two semi-finals and the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
The opening of the first semi-final will feature the film 70 Years of Love, telling the story of a couple against the backdrop of the contest’s 70-year history. This will be followed by a 70-member choir performing L’amour est bleu — one of Eurovision’s most iconic songs. The track was originally performed in 1967, when Vienna first hosted the contest, by Luxembourg’s representative Vicky Leandros, who placed fourth.
During the voting segment of the first semi-final, viewers will see the comedic musical number Kangaroo, in which the show’s hosts, Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski, explore how to easily distinguish between Austria and Australia. The performance will also feature Australian artist Go-Jo, who represented his country at the 2025 contest.
The second semi-final will open with a performance of Wasted Love, the song that brought victory to Austria’s representative JJ in 2025. During the interval, the singer will also present a new track.
At the opening of the Grand Final, The Queen of the Night and JJ will take the stage. Their performance will blend elements inspired by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with contemporary music. The show will feature more than 40 dancers as well as acrobats.
During the Grand Final voting, the show Celebration! will bring together Eurovision participants from different years to perform iconic songs from the contest’s 70-year history. This will be followed by a performance from Austrian musician Parov Stelar. The evening will conclude with the song Vienna, performed by Austria’s 2018 Eurovision representative Cesár Sampson. In addition, the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna will appear in the Grand Final, providing musical accompaniment throughout the contest.
