The American series Scarpetta was created by Liz Sarnoff and is based on the bestselling novel series by Patricia Cornwell. The story centers on chief medical examiner Kay Scarpetta, who takes on the investigation of a serial killer. The first season will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 11.
