The founder’s grandmother becomes Jacquemus’ first brand ambassador

Replacing global stars
Recently, Simon Porte Jacquemus proudly announced the first ambassador of his brand Jacquemus – his grandmother, Lilin Jacquemus. She now represents the label, which has collaborated over the years with international stars such as Jennie from BLACKPINK, Kendall Jenner, and Bad Bunny.
«With pride, I present our first Jacquemus brand ambassador – my grandmother, Lilin Jacquemus. Above all, she is a true icon», the brand stated officially on its Instagram page.
Jacquemus emphasizes: «Lilin has been an inspiration to Simon long before the brand existed. Her strength, elegance, and sincerity shaped his understanding of femininity and continue to define the spirit of the brand today. For the designer, she embodies the ideal Jacquemus woman».

The brand also explained the symbolic significance of this appointment: «Jacquemus pays tribute to the women who raised him and the legacy they passed on. It is a gesture of respect for family, memory, and tradition. Lilin Jacquemus is more than just an ambassador – she embodies the soul of the House and serves as a timeless reminder that Jacquemus is, above all, a story of origin».
Lilin Jacquemus was born in 1946 into a farming family in the small village of Allène in southern France. Her guardian was a single Italian mother. Simon Porte Jacquemus has always spoken proudly of his roots and the pastoral heritage of Provence – which is why he named his latest collection Le Paysan. Lilin Jacquemus regularly appears at the brand’s shows and made her debut as a Jacquemus model in 2020.
