Following Michael Douglas: Nicole Kidman travels to Antarctica

A new place of power for celebrities
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones rarely delight their fans with family photos. However, recently the couple made an exception, sharing images from an unusual journey.
While most celebrities prefer to vacation in warm destinations, the star couple ventured to Antarctica. They were accompanied by their children, Dylan and Carys. In a rare photograph, the entire family poses on a boat against the breathtaking backdrop of the southern continent’s icy landscapes.

Shortly after, Nicole Kidman also set off for the glaciers. Together with her sister Antonia and her two daughters, the actress chose Antarctica as the destination for a family trip. The 58-year-old star has already shared the first photos from the journey, which are literally breathtaking.

«An adventure that happens once in a lifetime, in the company of family and friends», Kidman captioned the images.

It seems this trip provided the actress with a true breath of fresh air and an opportunity to recharge after a challenging period in her personal life.

As a reminder, last autumn Anton Ptushkin presented the documentary film Antarctica, dedicated to the life and work of Ukrainian scientists at the Akademik Vernadsky station. The film was a major success: in its first weeks of release, it earned over 75 million hryvnias, becoming the second highest-grossing Ukrainian film since the full-scale invasion and the highest-grossing Ukrainian documentary ever. Additionally, the film raised nearly 24 million hryvnias to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
