Brooklyn Beckham calls his parents hypocrites and officially cuts ties

It seems the relationship between the celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham and their eldest son, Brooklyn, has irreversibly fractured – loudly and scandalously. The 26-year-old, the firstborn of David and Victoria, has spoken openly for the first time about the conflict with his parents, declaring that he is literally disowning them.
In a series of candid stories on social media, he accused his famous parents of total control, hypocrisy, manipulation, and disrespect toward his wife, actress Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn explained that he had remained silent for years, trying to keep family issues behind closed doors. But, according to the footballer’s son, the situation reached a breaking point when his parents and their team began actively working with the press to craft a self-serving image of the «perfect family».
«I stayed silent for many years, trying to keep this private. But my parents and their team kept going to the media, leaving me no choice but to speak the truth. I don’t want to reconcile with my family. I am no longer being controlled, and for the first time in my life, I am setting my boundaries», Brooklyn wrote.
He also emphasized that his life has been part of the Brand Beckham since childhood, with a carefully curated image of family idyll at its core:
«Social media, family events, and insincere relationships have been a part of my life. I saw what they were willing to do to create a false image of a «strong family». But the truth always comes out».
According to him, the appearance of a «happy family» has been more important to the Beckhams than real relationships:
«Love in our family is measured by the number of social media posts. For years, we appeared in public to show the «perfect family». But when my wife asked my mom to help save dogs during the Los Angeles wildfires, she was refused».
Brooklyn also spoke about his parents’ attitude toward his wife. He claims that David and Victoria repeatedly tried to undermine his relationship with Nicola Peltz even before their wedding. In particular, he alleges that Victoria refused at the last minute to work on the wedding dress for her daughter-in-law and later framed it as if the decision had come from Nicola herself.
The most painful moment for Brooklyn, he says, was during their 2022 wedding:
«My mom ruined our first dance as a married couple. We had carefully prepared this moment with a romantic song. When Marc Anthony invited me onto the stage to dance with Nicola, my mom went onto the dance floor instead. Her behavior was completely inappropriate. I have never felt so humiliated in my life», the young man admitted.
Because of this, the couple later decided to hold a second, intimate ceremony without his parents: «We wanted new memories of our day – without tension, shame, or pain».
Brooklyn also addressed the scandal surrounding his absence from his father’s 50th birthday. He insists that he and his wife traveled to London and spent a week trying to arrange a meeting with David.
«They kept turning us down, again and again. The only thing he agreed to was a big party with a hundred guests and cameras at every turn. And when he finally agreed to meet, he set one condition: Nicola must never be there. It felt like a slap in the face».
