Emily in Paris star Lily Collins appeared as a guest on the popular American late-night show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, hosted by Jimmy Fallon.
During the episode promoting the upcoming fifth season of the series, the host prepared a heartfelt surprise for the actress: her idol, Victoria Beckham, suddenly walked onto the stage. Lily has never hidden her admiration for the style icon and former member of the legendary Spice Girls.
Emotions took over, and Lily couldn’t hold back her tears. Victoria appeared before her in a stunning off-the-shoulder evening gown. The two stars recreated the iconic «V» pose with raised fingers and then shared a warm embrace.
Beckham complimented Lily’s hairstyle – her striking bob, which once served as Victoria’s own signature look. Victoria also noted that Lily’s hair seemed even shinier. Collins responded shyly: «No, no… Thank you, of course, but I could never outshine you».
Fallon also asked Victoria how she got her nickname «Posh». Beckham explained that it came from her love of beautiful things – fashion and fine dining.
«It even came in handy with the Spice Girls», she added. «The others weren’t especially interested in designer clothes and were happy with free outfits, so the entire costume budget went to me».
