King Charles III and Queen Camilla unveil their Christmas card

Anticipating the festive season
For many decades, royal families in countries with a monarchical form of government have upheld a cherished tradition: on the eve of the Christmas and New Year season, they release their official holiday cards. These cards are sent to everyone who conveys their Christmas and New Year greetings to the reigning monarchs.
This year, King Charles III and Queen Camilla were the first to open the festive season. The British monarchs chose a photograph taken during their visit to Italy.

The image shows the royal couple posing against the backdrop of a blooming garden and massive stone formations. The photograph was taken by Chris Jackson, who regularly works with the British Royal Family at both official and private events.
«The scent of Christmas is in the air – the festive spirit can be felt everywhere! The King and Queen are delighted to share their annual Christmas card, featuring a photograph taken on the grounds of Villa Wolkonsky in Rome during Their Majesties’ State Visit to the Italian Republic in April», reads the caption.
Now we eagerly await the holiday photographs from the other royal households.
