Beyoncé’s 13-Year-Old Daughter Attends a New York Event

Thirteen-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, the eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, made her first-ever solo appearance at a public event — without her famous parents. As reported by WWD, she attended the 27th annual Angel Ball in New York City to support her grandmother, Tina Knowles, who served as host of the charity gala that evening.
Although Blue Ivy didn’t walk the red carpet, photographers captured her arrival. For the occasion, she chose a delicate blush pink silk gown with a deep neckline, complemented by a feathered cape and a diamond necklace.
Her grandmother, 71-year-old designer and philanthropist Tina Knowles, appeared in an elegant burgundy dress featuring a high slit.
The Angel Ball is traditionally held in support of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation, an organization that funds research in the field of cancer treatment.
Born in 2012, Blue Ivy has long been in the media spotlight. Fans note that the daughter of the superstar couple has grown up considerably and appears increasingly confident in public. Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who married in 2008, are also parents to twins — daughter Rumi and son Sir.
