Kiss Co-Founder and Guitarist Ace Frehley Dies at 74

He Was 74 Years Old
Paul Daniel Frehley, co-founder and guitarist of the legendary rock band Kiss, better known by his stage name Ace, has died at the age of 74. The news was reported by Variety, citing a statement released by his family.
According to the statement, the musician’s death resulted from complications of injuries sustained last month after he fell in his studio.
«We are completely devastated and heartbroken. In his final moments, we were fortunate to surround him with love, care, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers, and intentions as he left this world,» his family wrote.

As reported by TMZ, the fall caused a brain hemorrhage, forcing Ace to cancel his upcoming shows. Unfortunately, his condition never fully improved.
Frehley was a member of Kiss from 1973 to 1982, before leaving the band to pursue a solo career. He later rejoined in the mid-1990s when the group reunited in its original lineup. Frehley last performed with Kiss in 2001, after which he returned to his solo projects.
