Victoria Beckham Premieres a Documentary Series About Her Life and Career

London hosted the premiere of the new Netflix documentary series Victoria Beckham, dedicated to the designer, singer, and style icon. The event was attended by Victoria’s husband, David Beckham, their three children, her sister, and close friends — including Eva Longoria and fellow Spice Girls members Emma Bunton, Melanie C, and Geri Halliwell.
The couple’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, once again missed the family event, further fueling rumors of strained relations.
For the special evening, Victoria chose a cream-toned total look — a long skirt, matching top, and blazer. David appeared in a classic black suit paired with a subtly striped shirt.
Their children followed the family’s elegant dress code. Twenty-year-old Cruz wore a black suit with a light-blue shirt and a burgundy tie. His girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, opted for a chic black pantsuit. Fourteen-year-old Harper appeared in a long black dress, while twenty-three-year-old Romeo chose a cream suit perfectly complementing his mother’s outfit.
Fifty-year-old Eva Longoria wore a white dress with gold sandals. Forty-nine-year-old Emma Bunton posed in a sheer top alongside her 18-year-old son, Beau Lee Jones. Fifty-one-year-old Melanie C appeared in a leather top and tailored trousers, and fifty-three-year-old Geri Halliwell chose a light turtleneck, cardigan, and skirt ensemble.
The documentary series Victoria Beckham consists of three episodes and tells the story of the former Spice Girls singer’s journey into the world of high fashion. Viewers will see the designer’s preparation for her triumphant show at Paris Fashion Week 2024, as well as her personal reflections on the challenges, doubts, and successes she has faced along the way.
In the opening episode, Victoria recalls starting out in the fashion industry with little experience, feeling uncertain about how people would perceive her — mostly as a pop star and footballer’s wife. «I knew I was being judged, but I never accepted ‘no’ as an answer,» the designer admits.
She also opens up about the serious financial challenges her company once faced, when it was tens of millions of dollars in debt. «I almost lost everything. It was a dark period. I cried every day before going to work,» she confesses.
Today, Victoria Beckham’s business continues to thrive. The company operates offices in London and New York, has a flagship store in Mayfair, and is represented in 230 retail locations across 50 countries.
