Tickets for the Vienna Opera Ball 2026 to increase in price

Prices to exceed 400 euros for the first time
On February 12, 2026, the Vienna State Opera will once again transform into one of the world’s most elegant ballrooms. However, those wishing to attend the legendary Vienna Opera Ball will have to dig deeper into their pockets: ticket prices have gone up — and this time, significantly.

The cost of a standard admission ticket will reach 410 euros, which includes a charitable contribution of 35 euros. For those who don’t plan to stand all night, a seated ticket is available for 230 euros.

The most substantial price increases affect the boxes. For example, renting a stage box has risen from 14,000 to 15,000 euros. A premium stage box will now cost 19,000 euros. And the luxurious balcony boxes, which are typically the first to sell out, will now go for 26,000 euros, up from the previous 24,500.

However, to gain priority access to these boxes, one must be an official donor of the Vienna State Opera. This status requires an annual contribution of 30,000 euros, which supports young talents. As a result, a balcony box with priority access will cost an impressive 56,000 euros.

Prices for food and drinks have yet to be announced, but it seems guests won’t be saving much at this celebration of opulence.
