Star designer Philipp Plein unexpectedly visited Vienna
A pleasant encounter
German designer Philipp Plein, known in the fashion world as the «king of bling», paid an incognito visit to the Austrian capital on Tuesday. His appearance came as a real surprise to customers at the Philipp Plein flagship store in Vienna.
According to store managing directors Ernst and Manuela Fischer, the designer first held a meeting at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, after which he stopped by the boutique for a short visit, much to the amazement of the staff and guests.
«It was an incredible moment to see Plein in person,» they told oe24.
Although the visit was brief — Plein arrived in Vienna in the morning and flew back the same day — for the store team and brand fans, it was a memorable event. Meeting the star designer in person was an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
