Lady Gaga’s concert in Brazil enters the Guinness World Records

It was attended by over 2.5 million people
American pop icon Lady Gaga has entered the Guinness World Records for her concert in Rio de Janeiro. Her performance, which took place on May 3, has been officially recognized as the largest-attended concert in history by a female musician. This information appeared on the Guinness World Records website.
The 39-year-old star’s concert on Copacabana Beach gathered over 2.5 million fans and boosted the local economy by $105.8 million.
The performance marked the singer’s first show in Brazil in 13 years and was completely free of charge. Interestingly, Lady Gaga broke Madonna’s previous record, who had drawn 1.6 million spectators at the same location a year earlier.
