«Adolescence,» «The Studio,» and more: winners of the 2025 Gotham TV Awards

On June 2 in New York, the winners of the 2025 Gotham Television Awards were announced. The absolute favorite of the ceremony was the British dramatic miniseries «Adolescence,» which received three awards: Best Miniseries, Best Performance in a Leading Role, and Best Supporting Performance in a Miniseries.

In the category of Best Comedy Series, the winner was «The Studio» — a project by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen that humorously portrays the challenging reality of life in a Hollywood studio.

The award for Best Drama Series went to «The Pitt» — a story about the challenges and daily life of emergency department workers in Pittsburgh.

Actor Aaron Pierre received the award for Best Performance in an Original Film («Rebel Ridge»), while Ben Whishaw was recognized as Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role in «Black Doves.» Kathy Bates won Best Performance in a Drama Series for the show «Matlock.»
