Star appearance: model Sora Choi in a stunning Swarovski gown

Look from the Met Gala 2025
Recently, the grand charity event Met Gala 2025 took place in New York City. It traditionally marks the opening of the spring exhibition at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This year’s theme, Tailoring Black Style, was inspired by Monica Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The exhibition explores how fashion has played a role in shaping identity within the Black diaspora and how the phenomenon of Black dandyism emerged.
Among the many celebrities in attendance was South Korean model Sora Choi, who truly shined in a custom-made gown by the Austrian brand Swarovski.
The dress, in a trendy baby blue shade, was created especially for her and adorned with crystal embroidery and weightless feathers.
The look was completed with luxurious crystal-embellished heels by Manolo Blahnik, a sparkling hair accessory, and a silk coat.
Later, the brand shared details of how the look for Sora Choi was created. According to the designers, the dress was crafted from airy organza, feathers, and 50,000 shimmering Swarovski crystals and beads. The hair accessory alone was adorned with another 12,600 beads and required 50 hours of meticulous handwork.
A truly magnificent look!
