Watching the trailer for Freaky Friday 2 with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis

Premiere on 2025
Disney has released the debut trailer for the comedy sequel Freaky Friday 2, which serves as a follow-up to the cult 2003 film.
Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprise their iconic roles. The story takes place 20 years after the first body swap between mother and daughter. Now, Anna Coleman (Lohan) is a successful woman raising her teenage daughter, Harper. One day, they find themselves in a familiar yet equally chaotic situation — Anna and Harper switch bodies.
At the same time, Anna’s mother, Tess (Curtis), also gets caught up in the incredible swap. She unexpectedly finds herself in the body of 14-year-old Lily, the daughter of British restaurateur Eric, whom Anna is set to marry. Will the heroines be able to return to their original bodies and navigate the hilarious and touching challenges ahead?
The sequel is directed by Nisha Ganatra (Late Night). The cast also includes Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Manny Jacinto, Julia Butters, and more.
The first Freaky Friday was released in 2003 and was based on the novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers. The film became a huge hit, grossing $160 million worldwide. It is beloved for the fantastic chemistry between Lohan and Curtis, as well as its warm family atmosphere and humor.
The sequel is expected to bring a new generation of unforgettable moments and become another beloved family comedy. The film will hit theaters on 2025.
