Sabrina Carpenter, Charli XCX and other Brit Awards – 2025 winners
Who else became a laureate of the award?
The past few days have been rich in awards, as just yesterday the results of the film awards «Golden Raspberry» and «César» were announced, and on the night before March 2 another important event took place – this time in the world of music, the Brit Awards.
Before the winners were announced, Sabrina Carpenter lit up the stage with her hit «Espresso», which we listened to all summer, and later it became known that the artist won the award in the category «Most Successful Global Female Artist of the Year».
Alongside that, her colleague Charli XCX won in four categories: «Artist of the Year», «Best Dance Performance», «Songwriter of the Year», and «Album of the Year», which is not surprising since her record brat not only gained tremendous popularity but also became a trend among the youth. Note that in the first category, Dua Lipa also contended for the coveted prize, but this year luck wasn’t on her side.
For the title of Best Band, Coldplay, The Cure, and other artists were also in the running. However, Ezra Collective ultimately clinched the victory.

In the «Song of the Year» category, the best artists and bands gathered with their equally worthy tracks. However, the joint composition «Guess» by Charli XCX and Billie Eilish emerged as the winner.
The award for «Best New Artist» was claimed by the band The Last Dinner Party.
Meanwhile, in the «Best Global Artist» category, the 2025 Grammy winner Chappel Roan triumphed. Notably, she outperformed such renowned performers as Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, and others. The singer also won the award in the category «Best Global Song of the Year».

Surprisingly, the best global band was not Linkin Park nor Future & Metro Boomin, but Fontaines D.C.
At Brit Awards 2025, the singer Raye received the award in the category «Best R&B Performance».

In the «Best Alternative/Rock Performance» category, Sam Fender won, and the award in the «Best Pop Performance» category went to Jade.

Also, note that the artist Stormzy became the winner in the «Best Hip-Hop/Rap Performance» category, and Myles Smith received the award in the «Breakthrough Artist» category.
