A quarter of a million euros and two bodyguards: Ekaterina Mucha to appear at the Opera Ball in stunningly expensive jewelry

A closer look
The Vienna Opera Ball is just around the corner. On February 27, 2025, the event will once again bring together the most sophisticated guests, who are already preparing their luxurious outfits. Among them is publisher and style expert Ekaterina Mucha.
For the Opera Ball, she has chosen a green off-the-shoulder gown by designer Erika Süss, complemented by an incredible necklace, bracelet, and earrings from the Vienna auction house Amadeus.
These are not just accessories but exquisite pieces made of white gold, adorned with 74.56 carats of diamonds and 12 sapphires. The price of this jewelry set is astonishing — 253,000 euros! For security reasons, two bodyguards will be assigned to watch over the jewelry on Ekaterina.
By the way, this necklace has already been seen at the Vienna Opera Ball before. It was worn by mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča in 2010.
