Jude Law’s daughter Iris faces «cancel culture» threat

Here’s why

It seems that Iris Law, daughter of Jude Law, is facing the threat of «cancel culture» after a story went viral on social media platform X, where a waitress shared an account of the model’s alleged unethical behavior.

The waitress claimed that Iris caused a major scene in a restaurant because she didn’t like the dessert menu and then outright refused to pay the bill. During the altercation, the actor’s daughter reportedly kept emphasizing her background, saying: «Do you know who my father is?».

Iris quickly denied the accusations, stating that the entire story was fabricated and that nothing like this had ever happened in her life.

Meanwhile, social media users have split into two camps: some are calling for the model to be canceled as soon as possible, while others are defending her. The latter argue that in the digital age, someone would have surely recorded the incident on their phone, and without any evidence, there is no reason for accusations.

Let’s recall that earlier, there was a wave of calls to «cancel» the first transgender actress nominated for an Oscar, Karla Gascón. She had posted unethical content in 2016, 2020, and 2021 but later deleted it from her account.
