Prada’s photo booth in Vienna creates a buzz among locals
People are waiting for hours to take a picture
Even the most popular brands occasionally come up with creative ideas to delight their fans with something exclusive and impressive. Think of Jacquemus’ bus-bags that roamed the streets of Paris.
Now, the Italian brand Prada has taken over this «wow» trend with its signature photo booths.
They have already caused a stir in London, New York, and Singapore. And now, they are drawing massive queues of eager visitors in Vienna.
For several days now, the photo booth has been located in the Tuchlaubenhof district. From 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, anyone can take a picture — alone or with friends. The administrator carefully places the printed photo into a Prada-branded envelope and hands it over to the owner.
Prada’s photo booth quickly became a sensation in Vienna, largely thanks to local bloggers who actively shared videos and pictures on social media.
As a result, the wait time for a photo can now reach up to three hours.
