Love Issue: Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song on the pages of Cosmopolitan

Captured by Richard Kern
Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song are the stars of the latest issue of American Cosmopolitan, dedicated to Valentine’s Day. They grace the magazine cover and take part in a romantic photoshoot by Richard Kern – an underground photographer whose work does not conform to conventional artistic genres.
On the cover, the couple poses lying in bed, holding hands tightly. Macaulay wears a Bode cardigan and sweatpants, while Brenda appears in a Los Angeles Apparel shirt and Sandy Liang shorts.
In other photos, the couple is captured in the comfort of their home: waking up, going through their morning rituals, and later heading to the kitchen to prepare a delicious breakfast.
However, the most attention-grabbing shot is the one where they recreate Rolling Stone magazine’s iconic 1981 cover featuring John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
Alongside the photos, the magazine features an exclusive interview in which the couple discusses their 10-year romance. Believe it or not, Macaulay and Brenda are still not married! And it doesn’t bother them at all. They are in no rush to formalize their relationship – they are perfectly happy as they are.
«Wait, they’re together and have kids?» (the actor quotes the public’s question – editor’s note). «Great, that means we’ve done our job well», Macaulay said in his conversation with Cosmopolitan.
As a reminder, Macaulay and Brenda’s relationship became public in 2017 during the filming of Changeland. It is said that Song helped Culkin overcome his destructive habits. With her by his side, the actor transformed into a devoted family man. In 2021, the couple welcomed their first son, Dakota, named after Culkin’s late sister, who passed away in 2008. And in the spring of 2024, they had another son, Carson.
