It’s so sweet: Duchess Sophie was photographed holding a puppy

During a visit to Hampshire

Sophie, the wife of Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh and the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, charmed the internet with touching photos of herself with dogs.

The Duchess, who recently celebrated her 60th birthday, visited the charity organization Dogs for Autism in Hampshire. This organization supports people with autism by providing them with personal assistance dogs that help reduce anxiety and improve their quality of life.

At the charity’s training center, assistance dogs Buddy, Jack, and Finn demonstrated their training, and Her Royal Highness met the newest team member — a 9-week-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Louis!

For the visit, the Duchess of Edinburgh wore a white blouse, a blue jacket, and light-blue flared trousers, paired with suede heeled boots.

It’s worth noting that all members of the royal family actively support various animal charities and adore dogs themselves. For example, the late Queen Elizabeth II, during her long life, owned over three dozen dogs, mostly corgis and dorgis. She and Sophie enjoyed walking their beloved pets together.
