«My queen»: Cameron Diaz’s husband celebrates her return to acting
And shares a rare selfie
Musician Benji Madden, known as a member of the band Good Charlotte, celebrated his wife Cameron Diaz. He praised her return to the big screen and their 10th wedding anniversary.
On his Instagram, Benji shared a rare photo of the two of them together and expressed his admiration for his wife.
«This is my Queen. I honor this amazing woman. Wife, mother, friend, partner, leader, and lover. On January 5th, we celebrated 10 years of marriage. Every year, our life just gets better.»
The 45-year-old musician highlighted the honesty and trust in their relationship.
«Our partnership is something special,» he wrote.«Never perfect but always real. Every day I’m grateful to be with my best friend, whether we’re traveling or just living our daily life. I’m endlessly thankful for this.»
In his post, Benji also shared his excitement about Diaz’s new film, Back in Action. This marks her first project after a decade-long break. The actress last appeared in the movie Annie in 2014.
With enthusiasm, he added:
«We’re so excited to see you… BACK IN ACTION!! Congratulations, baby girl!»
The post was accompanied by a selfie of the couple and a photo of Cameron in an elegant silver dress. Among the commenters was Benji’s twin brother and bandmate, Joel Madden, who left three heart emojis. Rock star Avril Lavigne also wrote: «Queen.»
The film Back in Action is now available on Netflix. The story centers on former CIA agents whose secret identities are exposed, forcing them back into action. Diaz stars in the film alongside Jamie Foxx.
