After the story of a French woman scammed by someone posing as Brad Pitt using AI made headlines, the news reached the Hollywood actor himself. The star reacted to the incident involving 53-year-old Anne, who gave €830,000 to the fraudster and even left her husband for him.
A representative of the actor released an official statement to E! News.
«It’s horrifying that scammers take advantage of fans’ deep admiration for celebrities, but this serves as an important reminder not to respond to unverified messages online, especially from actors who are not on social media», Brad Pitt commented.
The 61-year-old Oscar winner also emphasized that he does not have any social media accounts.
