Author Neil Gaiman accused of abuse by eight women

One of the victims — his son’s nanny
British fantasy author Neil Gaiman, renowned for his novels Good omens, Stardust, and American gods, has been accused of sexual abuse. Complaints have been filed against the 64-year-old writer by eight women, according to Vulture.
A shocking testimony came from Scarlett Pavlovich, who worked as a nanny for Gaiman’s children and lived in his home. Scarlett claims that Neil repeatedly assaulted her and demanded she call him «master» while referring to herself as «slave.» Furthermore, she alleges that the author assaulted her on multiple occasions in front of his own son.
As for the other victims, the report states they were Gaiman’s fans who felt compelled to engage in intimacy with him due to fear of his authority. The survivors have now created a WhatsApp group where they share their experiences and support one another.
Gaiman has denied the allegations, asserting that his relationships with the women were «consensual BDSM.»
Notably, Gaiman is married to singer Amanda Palmer. The couple has an open marriage and lives separately while co-parenting their son. The author also has three children from his first marriage to actress Mary McGrath.
