Star of «The White Lotus» Aubrey Plaza refuses to comment on husband’s suicide
The reasons for the suicide are currently unknown
The husband of «The White Lotus» star Aubrey Plaza, director and screenwriter Jeff Baena, has passed away. He was 47 years old. TMZ reported this.
The body of the director was found at his home by his assistant on January 3, around 10:30 a.m. local time. Law enforcement officers investigating the circumstances of his death believe that the director took his own life. However, the reasons for the suicide are currently unknown.
Jeff Baena was born and raised in Miami. After graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, he moved to Los Angeles to build a career in the film industry.
He was known for films such as «Life After Beth», «Horse Girl», «The Little Hours», «Spin Me Round», and others. In 2021, he married 40-year-old actress Aubrey Plaza. Before that, the couple had been dating for 15 years. The actress declined to comment on the cause of her husband’s death.
