«The Brutalist»: official trailer for the historical drama released

Based on true events, The Brutalist tells the story of visionary architect László Tóth, a Hungarian Jew. Escaping post-war Europe, he arrives in America to rebuild his life, career, and marriage with his wife Erzsébet, from whom he was separated by the war. In the new country, he feels lonely. One day, he settles in Pennsylvania, where a wealthy and prominent industrialist recognizes his talent for construction. However, everyone knows how hard it is to gain power and fortune.

The lead role in the film is played by Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody, known for his performance in The Pianist. He is joined by Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, and others.

The film was directed by American actor and director Brady Corbet, known for The Childhood of a Leader and Vox Lux (2018).
