Netflix has finished filming the final season of Stranger Things

And published behind-the-scenes photos

Netflix users quickly fell in love with the first season of the American show Stranger Things, which premiered in 2016. It’s hard to believe it was that long ago, but one of the creators of the series has shared the news that filming for the fifth and final season has now been completed.

In the meantime, Netflix has already released fresh behind-the-scenes photos from the set. The images feature the main cast members: Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), and Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler) in their 1980s outfits.

The pictures also include shots with the creators of the series, the Duffer brothers, as well as producer Shawn Levy and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson).

Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), and other stars will return to their roles.

The premiere of the final part of Stranger Things will take place in 2025, though the exact release date remains a secret.
