«Oppenheimer» star Emma Dumont comes out

Announces transmasculine non-binary identity
The 30-year-old star of the film Oppenheimer, Emma Dumont, surprised fans with a sensational announcement. On their Instagram page, they revealed that they now publicly identify as a non-binary person. As part of this new chapter, they also announced the adoption of a new name and pronouns.
Their biography now states that the actor prefers the pronouns «they/them» instead of «she/her», and their new name is Nick Dumont.
«They identify as a transmasculine non-binary person», — a representative for Emma told TMZ, adding that Dumont will retain their professional name but will use the name Nick in personal life.
Last summer, the Hollywood star underwent a significant external transformation, opting for a short haircut and changing their clothing style. Many fans at the time thought it was preparation for a role.
