Elton John, Anna Wintour, and other stars shine at the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada
Exploring the dazzling looks
Last night in London, the premiere of the musical adaptation of Lauren Weisberger’s novel The Devil Wears Prada and the iconic 2006 film of the same name took place. The role of Miranda Priestly was played by Desperate Housewives star Vanessa Williams.
The music for the production was composed by Elton John, with three-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell directing.
The event attracted numerous celebrities, including Lily Collins, Donatella Versace, Betsey Johnson, Michelle Visage, Dylan Mulvaney, Luke Evans, Álvaro Morte, and Jake Shears. Many guests opted for luxurious outfits by Vivienne Westwood for the evening.
Actress Elizabeth Hurley made it a family outing, attending the event with her 22-year-old son Damian.
The evening’s special guest was Anna Wintour, who posed for the cameras in a floor-length Prada gown adorned with crystals.
Following the premiere, a charity gala was held in support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Rocket Fund, adding even greater significance to the event.
